Nestled between a unique terrain of rock and woodland, with the dramatic Rock de sa Talaia as its backdrop and the crystal clear Mediterranean as its frontage, Villa Cybaura is a secluded haven with spectacular unspoilt views.  This frontline villa is in the most untouched part of the sunny, scenic island of Ibiza and the interiors leave nothing to be desired, boasting everything from a gym and a games room to a cinema and an outside Jacuzzi. And less than 300m away is a beautiful secluded cove with a dramatic backdrop and crystal clear waters for diving.  Sleeps up to 16 in six bedrooms.

Kasbah Tabelkoukt, Morocco

In an attitude of defiance, this stunning kasbah in the Moroccan Sahara perches on the edge of its cliff, daring the ocean to reach up the rockface and grab it. A magnificent place in a wild setting, where you can enjoy sumptuous interiors and an infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic.  Private access to the deserted beach.  The whole Kasbah sleeps up to 20.

From £120 – £170 per room per night.

Ohana Villa, Tobago

Ohana Villa stands apart as one of the most striking places to stay in Tobago and the Caribbean. Totally unlike any other property in Tobago it sits high up on the end of a small sandy cove and enjoys open and sweeping dramatic views of the ocean.  Ohana enjoys 180 degree views of the Atlantic Ocean. The house is orientated with the prevailing trade winds to keep the house cool. The garden is full of tropical and exotic flowers and fruit, and runs down to a small sandy protected cove, protected by a reef just out in the bay.  Sleeps eight in four bedrooms.

From £3485– £6970 per week for the whole villa.

The perfect spot for a group gathering – a brand new house near Hay on Wye

Here at One Off Places we are rather thrilled to have taken on the brand new Cwm Pelved, a stunning 15th century house near Hay on Wye which has just started taking its first guests.  It’s a six bedroom house set on a private estate with a fascinating history that dates back as far s the 15th century.  Made up of three interconnecting buildings and retaining a wealth of historic features, it has been superbly restored and now offers an exquisite setting for a very memorable holiday.

Peace (except the neighbouring sheep), privacy and escape are the watchwords at Cwm Pelved, as it’s set on a hillside and is accessed by a private drive.  The house looks out over the Cabalva Estate and the river Wye, as it winds through the landscape of the Welsh Marches.  Inside the house there’s a superb array of living space, with bedrooms at either end of the house making it the perfect spot for two or more families holidaying together.  Complete with double height rooms and glass walkways, it offers dramatic views over the Wye Valley from many of the rooms.

Out and about, there are heaps of local activities on offer – hill walking (you’re on the doorstep of Offa’s Dyke), horse riding, canoeing, cycling, and exploring the charming town of Hay on Wye.  The owners can arrange you a fishing permit for fishing on the River Wye if you would like.

A stay at Cwm Pelved costs from £1000 for a short break or from £1400 for one week.  That’s just £28 per person per night for a three night weekend away with your friends or family.
